Meet Jenny

I love practicing yoga and sharing it with others. I also love holding space for people to listen to and be guided by their own innate wisdom. In this retreat, I am excited to bring both these loves together.

I’m certified to teach yoga in the Iyengar style. This method invites us to practice in such a way that we heed “the inner voice of the cells”, as Iyengar says in his translation of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras. I have been practicing yoga since 1995. I completed my first 200 hour yoga teaching accreditation in 2003. Then in 2021, after three years of intensive training, I passed the rigorous Iyengar Yoga assessment to become qualified to teach in that style.

Off the mat, I have spent many years working in mediation, including clinical supervision and training. My coaching style is strengths-based and draws on process oriented psychology, strategic intervention, nonviolent communication, the Work, Zen Buddhist meditation and more. I am passionate about tapping into the inner potential we all have and supporting people to live their best lives.
