This 90-minute workshop is designed to gently prepare the body and mind for the practice of pranayama. We’ll begin with a chest-opening yoga sequence to create space, improve breath capacity, and support ease in the body. From there, you’ll be guided through Ujjayi and Viloma breathing practices, allowing time to explore their calming and regulating effects.
The session concludes with space for questions and integration. Participants will also receive a take-home copy of the sequence along with clear guidance on how to set up and practise the breathing techniques at home, supporting an ongoing and sustainable breath practice.
Workshop Breakdown (90 minutes)
• 60 minutes – Chest-opening yoga sequence to prepare the body for pranayama
• 20 minutes – Guided Ujjayi & Viloma breathing practices
• 10 minutes – Q&A and integration
All levels welcome. No experience needed.
A relaxing tea station is included so you can continue to unwind before or after your session.
About the teacher: Belinda has been practising yoga for over 25 years and is a certified Iyengar and Yin teacher. She regularly practices Pranayama for both physical health and emotional stability.
